Cross Motion Tallinn Hackathon and Conference is a meetingplace for media and gaming industries with the health, tourism and educational sectors. The unique two-day event will aim to spark ideas how to bring innovative gaming and audiovisual solutions to the service of the mentioned sectors.
Hackathon results:
1st place: The Artsy Game – a mobile app to scan paintings in museums and provide useful and fun information to understand the work of art and relate to it.
2nd place: Find a right place – an app that provides you with travel suggestions based on your personal preferences.
3rd place: MoleQL – an augmented reality platform that visualized chemical reactions and makes learning chemistry fun.
4th place: Topographics – a digital learning game where drawn topographical symbol will be immediately visualized as a 3D landscape.
All four teams won a chance to submit a proposal to develop their idea into a prototype. Selected proposals will be handed contracts worth up to 10,000 euros each, plus an incubation package at DIGIX. Additional special prizes were awarded by the Estonian Travel and Tourism Association (to The Artsy Game and Find a right place) and Avita publishing house (to MOleQL).
